(3.4) (3.5) (3.5) (4) (2.8)The food is delicious! I always go there and order sockeye sashimi, and it is easily the best i've ever tasted. They only use wild sockeye. I also get a miso soup and a seafood sunomono salad. And it's just way too good! I usually get one different type of roll each time or the special. Fresh oysters if they are on special it's so good. I always tip good because they make the best sushi. It's located right beside Save on foods so after you get grocceries treat yourself to some delecious sushi and be put in a better mood with the service maybe even being better than the awesome food.
The people there always put a lot more stuff into the burritos. and for 10 dollars for a giant burrito I sometimes can't even always finish. Some taco del mars don't put as much effort into the food but this one is one of the best. Great food for a cheap price while in downtown Vancouver, what more do I need to say?
The food and service are solid. enough sushi to fill you up for 5 dollars and it comes with miso soup and green tea. And it isn't bad at all! It's way better quality than a lot of other cheap places. It's a place I go to again and again. The restaurant looks generic but trust me it's well worth the price. if it was 10 dollars for the same meal I'd still get it but for 5? AMAZING. might as well throw down 10 and get 40+ pieces of sushi.
I went in to this place with someone who had never had sushi before and this was for sure a bad choice. I mean all you can eat sushi is never great but this was flat out not that great. it wasn't terrible tasting but it was average at best. The resteraunt on the inside looked fine though but it was empty and I soon found out why. The server took forever to take our order and we kept on ordering the same thing and it never came. Spring rolls took 15 minutes to arrive. I am not even exaggerating. We spent a total of 30 minutes there and most of it was waiting. But, the worst was when I went to pay. I usually tip but with bad service I rarely do. All you can eat and bad service = no tip from me. But, when I went to pay with debit. She refused to give me my card back until I gave her money for a tip. I finally agreed to just pay her so I could get my card back and leave. but, they were so rude that I will avoid the place and tell everyone I know to avoid it as well.
