Cafe Crepe874 Granville Street, Vancouver
worst service ever
Submitted Saturday, January 23, 2010 - 8:43pm [Dine in]

I LOVE cafe crepe but this particular location has got to be the worst location out there. If every location served nutella milkshakes, I would have just walked towards the cafe crepe under the futureshop. Unfortunately only this location served my beloved nutella milkshake and every time I have been to this restaurant, I've had horrible service.

I'm usually a very patient customer and I always reward excellent service, but if I feel like I've been mistreated, I mistreat people right back. The first time I went here, I actually dined in. The food was delicious as usual and they had a variety of options. When it came time to pay however, we asked our server to get us our bill. She said she would. Disappeared for half an hour to go for a smoke. We had to ask for a second time when she came back. I'm not the type to cause a huge scene but I am the type to refuse to tip.

The second and third time I went there, was actually for a take out order. Both times I stood outside waiting to be served. It's hard to get service when they have a sign that says "For take out, please order here" and every single window is closed. And when I go inside, they tell me that I have to go back outside to order.

What sucks is that they have no website or number to call to place complaints. If you're a very forgiving person, then I would suggest coming here because asides from their trecherous service, their food is quite delicious.

quaint restaurant

This little restaurant is hidden in the corner right beside Killarney Market. Their pepperoni pizza I find is very delicious. The meat tastes delicious and they put quite a bit of cheese. The fettucine alfredo tastes a little bland and runny but have it with chicken and it's pretty good.
The inside has an oldies kind of feeling and they have a variety of items in their menu.

The server was a large italian man who was very intimidating and constantly asked if we were ready. The food took quite awhile to make. I ordered the michael angelo which was pretty delicious however my friend ordered some pesto pasta which tasted like nothing!

There were also many people shouting and stuff so it took away from the mood.

I actually got a take out order which is cheaper. It's 12.95 if you dine in, 9.99 if you take out.
The servers and people were really nice! Unfortunately my time there wasn't spent too long to give a constructive review.

The food on the other hand, was just okay. I had the alla panna. It was pretty plain. They gave a little cup full of parmesan cheese which didn't do much and some bread that tasted like it was made with tap water. Sauce is really runny until you put the cheese on.

Overall, no complaints but also no praise.
