Great place for delicious Mexican food!

My husband and I have gone here only once, but LOVED it! The food is absolutely deliciously satisfying, and the service fantastic! I second what another reviewer has commented upon - in how many restaurants do the staff take you over to the sauces to explain what each one is?? The only downside at this location is that seating is limited. But the tasty tacos compensate for this!

Delicious food, great atmosphere

My husband and I have gone to Bin941 several times and each time, have been MORE than satisfied with our dining experience. The servers have always been attentive but not overbearing, and it's a great place to get quality, delicious food without a snooty atmosphere (ps - the beef wellington is to die for!!!). It is well worth bypassing supposedly upscale and trendy restaurants on Alberni Street for smaller restaurants like this one.

Kobe Japanese Steak House1042 Alberni Street, Vancouver
Vancouver has lots of great restaurants - Kobe is not one of them
Submitted Saturday, September 29, 2012 - 9:27pm [Dine in]

I went here tonight with my husband, as a special date night. We were sorely disappointed. First off, we were herded into the lounge area with no one telling us how long we had to wait for our reservation. Service seemed uncoordinated, with 4 different people asking us if we needed drinks. Our "chef" upstairs was charming enough, but we were shocked when he cut up our $50 steak into stir-fry bite portions. Then we felt rushed to leave even though we were not finished the bottle of wine that we had ordered. Tourists - Vancouver is chock full of small restaurants that are FANTASTIC and much more affordable. We recommend passing Kobe by on your way elsewhere!
