A very stable choice! I always go with 5+ people to take advantage of their bbq combos. Seafood pancake is really good! Consistent and very high quality! Once I had a really wonderful server who was so attentive and so kind - chased me down in the parking lot to give me back my a hair elastic from my seat. Did i mention he was cute? ANYHOO. Another time i went, i found it really hard to get any one's help - even to order. Perhaps we were in a bad spot. Always a nice experience. Crazy looking fish in their tank! If you have any plans, like coming with a cake or a large party, it'll be worth ur while to call ahead and make arrangements. Recommend reservations on a weekend night.

I've been going to this place for years now, either with my Cantonese family or alone with my conspicuously white boyfriend, and guess what: it's consistently awesome. If you can tough out the crowd, (dont be ashamed to elbow ur way in or trample a few keeners - the hoverers at the podium already have a ticket!!) the food is well worth the wait at ~$2.25/plate! They renovated, which made me very sad for those few weeks/months, but now they are jazzier than ever. Hostess at the front is adorable and never gives into the pressure! btw - "dap toi" means share a table, dont ask me how, but it works.

Dimsum - Sunday morning... the food quality is very good - for a $2/plate dimsum I think the plates average about $4... Atmosphere was terrible, very weird lighting, but we had some very nice servers. Not a huge wait, but I think I'll tough it out at Dai Tung next time...

I must admit after reading these reviews, I was a little afraid... But it wasn't terrible. The food was decent (the quality is about right for an ayce restaurant). The service was hilarious. Go there with a sense of humour. I found the servers somewhat timid, but not rude or aloof. The service wasn't friendly and there was no conversation... but everything came out relatively fast! They were ExTREMELY pleasant when I went to pay the bill. har har har. Personally, I like the atmosphere, the servers are busy and leave you alone if you don't need anything. I've been there a few times, and honestly I prefer it over any other ayce sushi restaurant. (I've sold my soul for their free pop.) *the food came out a little oddly shaped - trapezoidal tuna sashimi tastes just like the regular*

I liked the food... I live between this pub and the Hop and Vine, and this one is far superior. The service however, is TERRIBLE! (The Hop and Vine have really friendly servers) The servers are more interested in talking amongst themselves than actually doing any serving. One night, my friends and I lost our server for 20 minutes and saw her dancing near the bar! Several other employees (I suspect a kitchen chef and a shift manager) came to clear our dishes, pack our remnants, and apologized profusely. We actually never saw our waitress for the rest of the night! The food was good though, fresh and large portions. The beer is cheap. $3.75 for Stella can't be bad. I go there occasionally, but only when I'm not in a hurry. Go with someone with good conversation because you'll need entertainment while you wait for service. The novelty of your dancing waitress will wear off sooner than you think. Did I mention the chairs are a little low? Any one under 5'4" will need to sit on their feet.
