Yuji's Japanese Tapas2059 W. 4th Avenue, Vancouver
Surprisingly surprised!

Went biking with a buddy in downtown. Got hungry so decided to go for japanese. Told him about this place i heard about called Yuji's. Service was decent, not too fast but not too slow. The food was creative as there is a weekly menu everyday. Regular menu is also excellent. Menu selection is HUGE btw. so thats good too. Portions are a little smaller for the price your paying but when you put the food in your mouth all the worries dissapear! Expect to spend a little more if you really want to get full. Definitely recommended

Went in at about 10 pm.....resturant wasnt too busy so we sat at any table we wanted. Order 2 bowls of wonton soup (wasnt that hungry). They came very quickly and was nice and hot. Resturant looks very new and is very clean. When we sat down there was something comfortable about the resturant; very cozy. All in all the bill came up to 12.08 which was dirt cheap! Will be back to try rest of menu as the servers there were also quite friendly

Went here for late night AYCE. Went in here and was greeted in Chinese; which was already a negative. Chinese run Jap places usually dissapoint me, and this was no exception.. miso soup was just warm, rolls were ok i guess; but i like my dynamite rolls to have FRESH shrimp tempura............not premade ones......gyozas were warm, the teriyaki beef was the hottest dish we had but it seemed like it was microwaved and ALSO precooked. I think all the food here is premade and "heated up" or at least was made hours ago. THE OYSTER MOTOYAKI was not even warm......it was COLD. The best thing about this place was the mango pudding lol......Will not waste 29$ again for 2 ppl here AGAIN!
