kimchi jiggae, yukae jang and la kalbi dinner
Submitted Sunday, August 8, 2010 - 12:42pm [Dine in]

we had kimchi jiggae - it was ok. nothing special. but solid.

we had the yukae jang special - $6.95 - with no refills on the side dishes. the sides dishes were ok. the soup was ok.

the la kalbi for the kids was plentiful but too sweet. also no lettuce or samjang for making lettuce wrap.

the rice was ok.

it was fine - but i wouldn't go again.

Best taste for Korean BBQ is charcoal bbq. best smoky taste.

I think its the only charcoal BBQ around...

They have the best wang / wan kalbi - King Ribs... and they are good.

for two families - 4 adults, 4 kids under 13, with soju and beer $100 - and fit to burst...

and their side dishes are great and dwen jang jiggae is yummy too!

Lots of other korean bbq the meat is TOO SWEET, this is perfect.

fresh and fast

looking for new tasty sushi near main?

try sushi yama - and try some of their rolls that they invented.

they have one with mango, and another with cream cheese.

it's nice to try something you have tried before.

service is fast, the fish is fresh, and their take out platters are big.

i like the attention to detail and the quality.

go for drinks

after reading the reviews - i thought this was would be a great place for a staff christmas party.

it was disappointing.

the drink descriptions were exciting but the execution didn't live up to the prose.

the food menu was similarly a let down.

the stacked seafood (i can't remember what it was called) was interesting to see - but just ok to eat.

nothing really stood out - except the atmosphere and the bar.

good pizza
Submitted Sunday, February 3, 2008 - 6:47pm [Dine in]

tasty brick oven pizza - with thin crust. they consistently make tasty pizza. their salads are good too.

try the california pizza and the frizee salad. the frizee salad dressing is inconsistent - sometimes very sweet - sometimes not sweet at all.

service is usually very quick.

they don't honor their menu
Submitted Sunday, February 3, 2008 - 6:41pm [Dine in]

i ordered a manager's special #8 - 2 large 4 topping pizzas with a 2L coke for $19.99 out of the 2007-2008 canpages. I knew their would be a $1.99 delivery charge.

when the pizza came to the door it was $29.99.

i called and talked to them and they told me it was an old yellow pages.

the pizza itself is ok - but the service is terrible.

also on a previous occasion i ordered a salad. what did i get? take some bag salad from superstore - let it get brown - then take a handful and put it in a small styrofoam burger box and put that in a brown paper bag. don't include any dressing or fork.

avoid this restaurant.
