Ninkazu Japanese Restaurant4231 Hazelbridge Way, #205, Richmond
Confirmation of Richmonds Best
Submitted Friday, May 23, 2008 - 5:04pm [Dine in]

Checked this place out based on the reviews as I came here for the late night. I have been to a lot of all you can eat Japanese restaurants in Richmond and I can finally confirm for myself that Ninkazu is certainly the best one. The drink list is well made of a fine dining quality. I had a beer and Sake. The late night menu has a nice selection of foods ranging from sushi to bbq to teriyaki to tempura. Food is fresh. The bbq items are amazing as the beef ribs have a honey glaze to them. The chicken teriyaki are also excellent. The service for an all you can restaurant is also outstanding. I love the friendliness. I can't wait to try the dinner and lunch menu. As I am heading to Vancouver this weekend I am going to check out Tomokazu in Vancouver. I would highly recommend this place.

Not what they used to be!!
Submitted Friday, May 23, 2008 - 4:08pm [Dine in]

I used to be a regular for all you can eat sushi at Richmond sushi. There used to be long lineups and loads of people waiting just to get in to have all you can eat sushi. The food since has gotten worse. The bbq items are dry and overcooked. The sushi rolls fall apart and the service nowadays are terrible. No smiles from the staff and a very long wait for the drinks. Richmond Sushi better get the act together as competition in Richmond for all you can eat sushi has risen. I don't really come here anymore unless I have to and I wouldn't recommend it. There are other all you can eat Japanese restaurants in town.

Steveston Pizza Co.3400 Moncton Street, #100, Richmond
Best Pizza Ever
Submitted Friday, May 23, 2008 - 4:01pm [Dine in]

Based on the reviews I decided to give this place as try as everybody has been raving that the Steveston Pizza co has the best pizza in town. First of all it is a long drive and is it worth it? I would say if you crave excellent pizza then yes. I tried the Caveman and Italian. The caveman was my favourite as every bite was like biting into a big chunk of meat. The crust is thin but looks like normal crust because of the toppings. I will certainly be back.

Interesting

Has an interesting concept especially with all the choices of hot sauces that are available. Items on the menu are quite expensive and portions aren't that big. Regardless, the sauces that they have available are spectacular. The service is solid yet doesn't reach the expectations of a higher end restaurant. The washrooms are clean and I would say the food overall is solid.

Quite Solid
Submitted Monday, May 19, 2008 - 6:13pm [Dine in]

I am a regular customer here and I would have to say that the food here is quite solid here. I wouldn't say too much for the service but what would you expect from a fast food noodle place. As of late the the prices has gone up and the soup quality has decreased but don't get me wrong its still a pretty good value.

Better Than Nothing!!
Submitted Monday, May 19, 2008 - 5:40pm [Dine in]

All I can say is that this place is better than nothing. I wasn't quite happy with the service in this place. Attitute of staff was way off as they give you facial expressions when you want something. The food wasn't that good either. The rolls are super big with a terrible rice to fish ratio as well as the cones. The washrooms are quite dirty and smelly. This place needs a major makeover. I am not sure how this restaurant has survivived as long as it did. Its a nice area but will I return, certainly not. At least its better than nothing.
