The view just isn't worth $10 drinks, $16 appies, $39 entrees and $25 desserts.

Trying my best not to be biased from the excessively steep price, I'd have to say this was a somewhat unpleasant experience in terms of atmosphere and food. The view is spectacular. I was fortunate enough to arrive just after the clouds cleared up to get a panoramic view of the city. Absolutely mesmerizing to be dining with a mountain top view. However the food was bland. I actually enjoyed the complimentary bread and butter more than any of the appies or entrees. Food-wise, not worth the money or even half of it in my opinion. The atmosphere inside the restaurant itself is what mainly contributed to my unpleasant experience. There are only about roughly 8 tables (give or take a couple) in the restaurant that I can call to mind in a very dim and quiet atmosphere. The tables are not spaced very far from each other and I felt that I had to whisper as every word I said can be heard from the next. The server tends to stand around as if he's on call and ready to take your order. Again, this is a very small restaurant so it almost feels like he's eavesdropping. I understand that this is not his intention but a little space please.
The view doesn't get much better than this but that's about it.

I came here for my girlfriend's birthday and got one of the private rooms. Classy and very contemporary. With the doors shut, it blocked out most of the outside sound from the lounge which was a nice atmosphere to have our own private party. Very cozy and a great place for stag and stagettes. The service was only decent. Our server was polite but I couldn't help but realize a certain vibe which made me feel like she didn't want to be there and wanted to just get over with the night.
The food was quite dissatisfying, Food was cold and did not taste fresh. I had higher expectations. Taking into consideration of the price and food and although quite pleased with the ambiance and particularly the amazing washroom, I'd have to conclude that I would not be returning anytime soon. However, I did and there's not much more to be said.

After a lengthy search for the perfect restaurant to take my girlfriend for our one year anni, I've came to a solid decision after reading reviews on dinehere. Nowadays, I hardly go to a fancy restaurant without doing some research beforehand, which has often lead to disappointment nonetheless. Seeing great reviews sets the bar high but let me tell you, this place did not disappoint.
I found parking at the top of the hill at the QE parking lot and walked our way down. Made our way to the front doors and the moment we got in, she was speechless and so was I although I showed little emotion. (Of course, nothing but the best for my girlfriend!) They welcomed us and escorted us to our table which was on a raised platform with the perfect view.
We ordered a variety of dishes which were all very decent, fresh and presentable. Our server was genuinely polite and even offered us a complementary slice of chocolate cake for her birthday. It was rich, thick and delicious but we couldn't finish even after being on my last belt hole. The price was quite steep but if you are one who appreciates the ambiance or just can't put a price tag to the look of your girlfriends face, you'll feel little to no guilt.
Easily the most romantic restaurant I have been to so far.
