Poor Management

Went to Crave last night for dinner to see if it would be suitable for a wedding reception. Has a very nice, clean lines, hotel style decor. Obviously it has an amazing view with outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Ordered the mussels, poutine, and rigatoni for the two of us to share. The food was very good and the mussels were cooked perfectly. A friend joined us almost 2 hours later for dessert but also ordered the mussels and her's too were perfect so they obviously know how to cook mussels. For those used to poutine, it was a little odd having it without cheese curds but it still was a nice dish. The waitress was the perfect mix of friendly, professional and attentive. While waiting for our friend to arrive for dessert I asked the waitress the seating capacity, explaining that I was looking at doing a private function that would require a restaurant buy-out. She came back with the information and said that she would get the manager to come over and speak to us as we were waiting for someone anyways. I saw her go over to speak to him and he looked right at us. She came back and said he would be over as soon as he was done his meeting. Well I watched his meeting for the next 1.5 hours. It consisted of having a couple of beers with other staff, having some cheesecake, watching the baseball game and then having some beers with some more staff. It was 8:30pm on a Saturday night and completely dead so I figured the idea of a $10,000 buy-out on a Sunday night in the off season would be appealing. Well after waiting 1.5 hours and the waitress trying again on her own accord to get him to come over we finally left. The management doesn't seem to care if you come here or not.
