Only down side, I don't like having to pay for refills on pop. If I am paying $2 or more for a glass of pop, I expect to get refills for free!
I agree with 'BC diner', the servers are very poor. You are lucky if you get one who comes back to see if you need anything else, and even luckier if she doesn't have a huge attitude while she's doing it.
But on the plus side, the food is really good. I just love their baked lasagna. Mmmmm...
A friend and I went for lunch and ordered 3 or 4 items off their appy menu to share.
The food took forever, and then once we got it the nachos had barely any cheese and WAY too overdone. The cheese was hard and crunchy and the chips were overcooked and black at the tips. The rest of the appys were ok, but none of them were hot. Like they had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes before they were brought out.
We where 1 of about 3 tables, so there was no reason for our food to be late and cold.
I won't be going back again.
I have been told this is the place to go for good authentic Mexican cuisine. Their food is fantastic.
Only fault...sometimes I go there when they should be open and they aren't...not a bad idea to call ahead.
My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years and have never had a bad meal. Food has always been great. Their service has a glitch every now and again when there are too many customers per server, but they handle it very well.
