Awesome experience.. CHECK IT OUT!

I went with a small group on a Friday night a few weeks back and was blown away. I wanted to try somewhere new and DID NOT want to go to Stellas ( terrible ). A friend told me about it and said that she had gone when they launched their new menu. She gave it a good rating so we decided to check it out. So goooood, we started with the Tempakoras and Humous, amazing...... a trio of humous with grilled bread and papadoms was wicked. The tempakoras were good too, huge portion or crisp pakoras that had yam and cauliflower with mint yogurt. For entrees we all tried different stuff and they were all fantastic. The Kashmiri chicken was unreal with cashews in a spicy curry sauce on rice with a big salad. The Lamb shank in a spicy chocolate stew.....sooo good. The coconut curry chicken soup with rice noodles was nice, we were all just passing forks around the table and being blown away with each bite. I had heard that they had live music some days and was glad they didnt on fridays and saturdays cause it can be too loud sometimes for a social dinner. they played good lounge house music and some funky latin stuff. just a sweet place for a beer and an appy or a full on dinner party. small menu but everything is done really well and deserves to be checked out. Two big thumbs up!!

I went to Stella's a few weeks back for some beers and appy's and it was ok, not great but not disappointing. A little overpriced for the portion sizes but I decided I would come back. I recently went again and I dont know what they did but the food was terrible, my ahi tuna seemed like it was days old. There was no pink flesh anymore it was all gray and had had a rubbery texture. My korean ribs were no more than a few VERY thinly sliced ribs that I could have got at Superstore and were burned to a crisp. I paid ten bucks for the ribs and only got about 6 small bites. Also the salad that came with it was way overdressed and had mounds of sushi ginger in it, not very good at all. Our server did not seem like she knew anything about anything wether it be the food or the wine. When we mentioned that the food was mediocre she did not attempt to make any adjustments or give us any comps. Overall I was very disappointed about this place and will not be going back again.
