I recently dined at Cafe Luxy for the 3rd time, and it will be my last. The food is what enticed me to come back after my first visit, but is not enough to make me continue dining there.
For my first visit I was served by an older, short woman with black hair; worst service I've ever received. From reading other reviews it seems that she's the owner or manager, and also that many other people have had trouble with her. She was unpleasant to us, and downright rude to another table nearby, and also seemed to rush us through our meal and out the door.
Second visit was a great improvement in service, as we had a nice young man serve us. The mood that evening seemed much more relaxed and fun; likely because the manager was nowhere to be seen.
Third time we were unfortunately stuck with the short woman again. Needless to say it was a horrible disappointment. If that's not enough, I caught sight of a MOUSE while entering the mens room.
Great food cannot make me support a place where the owner/manager treats customers this way.
Maybe take-out would be the best option...?
