King's Fare Fish & Chips1320 W.73rd Ave., Vancouver
This is the place for Fish and Chips

Forget Mr. Pickwicks and pick a winner.... King's Fare!

You'll feel like royalty as you're treated like a king by the service.

The sides are huge and the fish is just the right size.
Everything tasted fresh.

What a great night out.

If you want to go somewhere and have some great Fish and Chips and a truly enjoyable time this is the only place you should go.

Mr. Pickwick's Fish & Chips1007 Denman Street, Vancouver
Mr. Pickwick's has nothing on the King
Submitted Wednesday, August 16, 2006 - 1:51am [Dine in]

The cod i ordered was so small i couldn't believe it and when i asked why it was so small the waitress simply told me that all fish aren't the same and that she guessed we got the runt of the litter.

No joke.

The service was fine except for the runt story and the fact that every few minutes someone new would pop up to talk to us about our drinks and dinner.

I'm all for conversation but not when i'm trying to swallow my dinner.

I had expected Mr. Pickwick's to be every bit as good as King's.
I was so wrong.
