Getting Better (or is it this location?) And Getting Worse

After a quick tip from a friend we decided to check out the Granville location of Sammy J Pepper'snext to the water and short walk from the parking facility. The entrance was a bit hidden as it's in the middle of the building removed from the hustle and bustle of the island.
We walked in and saw the restaurant laid out inside the entrance. The interior space is very nice, quiet and calming. What immediately proved true was the quality of the waitresses and their uniforms. This was great to see. And when I sy quality I mean quality. I don't know if that is a chain wide improvvement ot just the people in downtown get treated better us in the suburbs.
The food is good and sizzling hot. The taste buds were aflame with the chicken and rice dish. But the portions are poor. That is the worse part. I didn't feel there was enough food on the plate. Too bad. Still, I tipped hot for the hot leggy waitress.

This is the place to go for a really different burger, and I've never seen it duplicated, try their fries too because none of them seem generic or cookie cutter like the big chains. Been makin em retro since 20 years I think. I Vote them best burger in Canada because of the taste and the size. If your from outside this area you better hope they expand and get there soon cause you are missing out.. A simple and still reasonably priced burger, in a yummy 'secret recepie' sauce. The decor is Ok and the girls they hire only average but still I look forward to putting my fangs into Vera all the time
