Wasn't Too Impressed
Submitted Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - 4:10pm [Dine in]

I purchased a vaneats coupon and decided to come here during December. When we first sat down, the server was really friendly and tried to start up a couple of small talks with us. When we told her about our vaneats coupon, she asked to see the coupon so she can take down the code and will put our order in. When the food came, the shrimp portion was a lot bigger than we expected... After about 10 mins or so, we realize that the Crawfish was taking a little longer than usual so we asked if it was on the way. Well, the server apparently "forgot" to mention to us that they were out of Crawfish....She said "we double up your shrimp so instead of 1/2 of shrimp you got 1lb of shrimp to replace the crawfish, I hope that's okay." At that point, the food was already on the table, we were already eating it... not much that could have been done.. The whole concept and reason why I brought the vaneats coupon was to come and try out the crawfish but instead I had a lb of shrimp instead. I wouldnt have mind so much if she has just mentioned it before she decided to punch in our order so we were well aware. Better yet, maybe told us and we would have used it another time when they had orders of Crawfish in the restaurant.... Food was good i guess, just never got to try the main thing to eat at this restaurant.

Server was not the brightest

Came here to eat and watch the canucks game. The place got packed a little after the 1st period.
Our server can't remember who order what (we had around 8 people).
We asked for two baileys coffee and she said they were out of baileys (even though the liq store was next door).
We asked her what else she got that we can mix with coffee and she never came back. I use to work at a restaurant and I understand that it can get busy and hectic so I don't blame her for forgetting.
I finally had to go up to her and ask for my drink. Afterwards she gave me a red plastic straw and ended up melting in my hot coffee. She was suppose to use a black straw.

The food was good and the drinks were cheap so it was good. They should get a server that can handle their busy nights.
