I agree please have items on menu only if they are in the restaurant

My mother and I was just noticing the last review and I do have to agree with this person. I myself am not a big fan of Chinese food but my mother is so we agree to agree on the location. She gets her combo #1 all the time and I have to ask the lady what she does have available. She is very friendly and laughs as you speak to her but it is very unprofessional to tell your customers that you do not usually keep everything that is listed on your Canadian dishes at hand because they are not ordered that often. I know its probable cost that is of concern but if you are gonna list it make sure you do have it on hand for when the one person who does commonly order it can actually have what they wanted and not have to settle for what is available. Service is good I do also agree on slow days but I have been there for a year now as a customer due to my mother and when it is busy they could use a waitress that will help make sure service goes smooth.

Good Food But Dont Dine In On Busy Days
Submitted Monday, March 1, 2010 - 10:01pm [Dine in]

They do have great food but when it is very busy dont dine there. One person serving the entire restaurant is not enough when there are 4 or more tables of large families. Our order was mixed up with another family and when it was exchanged the food was good but not worth the frustration. The tea is $1 which is not like most restaurants. They say they have Canadian food too but my son ordered hamburger and she said sorry no burger then he ordered fish n chips and asked for gravy and she said sorry no gravy. Why have items on menu when you dont have the ingredients always on hand to make them. I understand its a family owned and operated restaurant but try getting a little help so when its busy the wait is not long.

My family and I love this restaurant and have been going there for years. It is small but the food is amazing and the service is really good. Everyone is very friendly and you don't get rude waitresses serving you here. Its like dining with friends :) I especially love the ALL YOU CAN EAT which is Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesdays from like 2 or 3 until 7pm. They quality is very good and you do get great size portions even for all you can eat. I have tried a few other fish n chip places and usually am not satisfied because of greasy or small portion fish but I must say that is not an issue here. They are a bit high priced on the regular days that are not all you can eat but for the price you pay on those days you seem to get much fuller the portions do get bigger and the dinners are enough to have you stuffed. If you havent tried it you must go and try it..My family of 4 can eat there on all you can eat days and spend just $10 more than we would if we all got a meal at McDonalds so must say I love their prizes.
