Big servings, affordable, predictable, friendly, great family restaurant. Always a favourite. My only complaint is that although a major portion of their clientelle are seniors, the entry staircase hasn't been modified to allow better access for mobility restricted patrons.
I agree with the previous writer that they have been cheap with the sauce. However, they've recently changed owners, so I'd recommend another visit. We are regulars there, and can't resist the medium spice double cabob meal with a side of rice and a side of ceasar salad. It's tasty, healthy, reasonably priced, and a great location for people watching.
Best to get your coffee and goodies to go. The cafe has too many hard surfaces and all the kitchen pots banging, utensils being sorted, and chairs dragging on the tile floor echo throughout the whole place. If I am forced to sit in with a friend, I find it very stressful and difficult to have a conversation. Coffee and goodies are good, but should be "to go".
