Loved the Mussels and Fries the first time I went to the Blue Canoe. A little disappointed to see them alter the item to include some clams instead of mussels but still a fantastic meal with a nice glass of Chardonnay! For those that complain about the pricing: do you have any idea of what rent would cost in that space? The view is not for free and you should expect to pay a higher premium when you dine outside with an amazing natural landscape in the background.

My wife and I have been going to Kisamos for several years and we find that the food is consistently good and we particularly enjoy some of the hidden jewels on the menu. The taramosalata (dip made of fish roe) is the best I have had in Vancouver. The broiled keftedes (meatballs) are perfect with a touch of lemon, amongst the best I have tried. My review of Kisamos, just like everyone else's is highly subjective! Try it for yourself.
That said, some of the comments here astound me. I worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years before retiring. Restaurants reviewed on this website deal with thousands of people per month, there are bound to be mishaps and its usually those with a grievance that will go out of their way to post a review! Also, as another commenatator said, Kisamos is not fine dining! Those expecting to pay less than 12 bucks for an entree while expecting to recieve Michelline star treatment should give their head a shake. Some critics here, who think that 10 buck entrees are not cheap, expect the world because they are parting with 10 loonies! Would they take a pay cut at their own job and offer more in return? Of course not, their sense of self entitlement only applies to others and not themselves!
