Ya Ya's Oyster Bar6418 Bay Street, West Vancouver
Delicious, Affordable Seafood.
Submitted Saturday, March 6, 2010 - 8:55pm [Dine in]

Located in Horseshoe Bay there is always a good vibe. With a pub-like atmosphere and televisions playing sports it is a good place to go to grab lunch. My family and I have been there countless times as it is our choice for affordable seafood and we have never been disappointed. I go for the oysters but sometimes opt for fish and chips or mussels. They have interesting options such as an Oyster Burger and great specials. For first timers I would recommend the option that includes one of each type of oyster available.

New Name New Experience
Submitted Saturday, March 6, 2010 - 8:37pm [Dine in]

When this Pho restaurant changed names it changed the experience of dining there. The staff is always friendly and will remember repeat customers. They always ask something specific about their regulars not just "how many are eating?" As a newbie to Vietnamese food I had always stuck with the same meals but the staff is more than willing to recommend things to try. The food is delicious and the service prompt with our teapot never reaching empty!

Great North Van Sushi!
Submitted Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - 3:05pm [Dine in]

The sushi tastes like it should be from a much more expensive restaurant. With the low prices and delicious food it quickly became a favourite. Although there are a lot of North Van sushi places that have decent prices this place has the friendliest service! The staff is always nice and the food comes out really quick. Now that they deliver I eat there more than once a week and the delivery service is just as friendly as the in-house.

New Breakfast Favourite!
Submitted Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - 2:56pm [Dine in]

After trying it on a Sunday morning, it quickly became a favourite breakfast spot. You're always welcomed with friendly greetings as if you're a regular and made to feel at home. The food is outstanding, try their chicken sausage! Their latte's are the best in North Vancouver. Even though the prices are a little higher, my starving student friends and I always choose the Bakehouse anyway.
