Only been here a couple times but very nice and unique variety of dimsums. Abalone, mushrooms, and other lovely sauces uniquely are interwoven within the dimsum or on the side. The hot sauce is nice too! Service is always great and there is a lovely view of the mountains by the big windows as it is on the top floor of a mall. You get hot towels too at the end. Good value for the awesome varieties on the menu.
Ate here a few times, lovely preset dim sum lunch during business hours weekdays, lunch specials. Nice steamed dim sum varieties like the shrimp dumpling, siu mai, congee, soup, kai lan veggies. Good chilli sauce on the side. Been here for a baby bday and very yummy set dinner for several tables incl. seafood, peking duck, yummy mango dessert. They have gift certificates which are handy for special anniversaries and bdays. Good service.
Enjoy driving out here for the fresh hot doughnuts and different coffees. They have a drive thru but it is also fun to go inside and see the many different types of donuts. Was nice to get a fresh hot original glazed doughnut when the "hot light" flashed on. Also love their white cream filled original or chocolate iced doughnuts. Got a coffee card for all their different coffees and it was easy to get the card stamped full and get a free specialty coffee. Nice mochas/lattes krispy kreme style.
I tried this place when it first opened and have back a few times since. Very yummy fried rice malaysian style with spicy sambal on the side as a hot condiment. Have tried some lunch specials and it was quite good including the hot and sour soup. The take out is fast and hot. Nice location in pretty White Rock on the hill.
Been to this location and the Poco one and both are good. Very conveniently located inside Home Depot. There are sit down areas too. The burgers are so tasty and freshly grilled with whatever condiments you would like to add. The hot peppers are great too if you desire. Drive there just for the burgers!
Have visited a few times over the years from the old location to this new one. Enjoyed the laksa and we shared a half hainanese chicken. The sides are fine and have tried the chicken rice too. All in all, it hits the spot for cravings for this dish. Nice busy location near ubc. Hardworking chef.
Have always had consistent tasty chinese food here. Affordable fixed menus where 3 of us ate for under 20-. Love their fried potstickers and the steamed ones with the black spicy vinegar too. They have nice congee and roasted duck. Like their freezer section for items to bring home and steam. Enjoy their pre -packaged dim sum to go at Save on freezer sections too!
Finally got to try high tea with a friend and were not disappointed. Loved the scones, jam, and devon cream. The tea was delicious with the lil sandwiches and cakes too. Very cute china and cutlery. Nice shop inside to browse if waiting but we had reservations as it gets busy for high tea bookings. Nice surprise.
Have tried their food here a couple times. Nice location by English Bay with a view of the water. Prix fixe menu we have tried is great and affordable as you get a starter , main and dessert. Coffee and dessert here is nice too by the casual sit down area where they have a view too. Food and service is always consistent.
We ate here a few times and love the scenery of the inlet, vancouver horizon and mountains all around. The flower garden in the spring/summer is beautiful also. Enjoyed the seafood pasta, very fresh and scrumptious. The mini crab cakes served at a friends wedding here were addictive and original. All in all lovely restaurant and yummy food.
Enjoyed only a coffee and cake -cappacino, mocha, latte with family but scenery and location is gorgeous. It is behind the souvenirs shop and other cafe. This restaurant feels open air but you have comfy booths, and if you wish you can line up and get your own food or have a server come to you either way. The hot coffees were good and the barista and staff friendly.
Ate here several times and boy is the food yummy! Especially enjoy the Indian mee goreng, Hainan chicken rice with great condiments, satays, and laksa broth soup. All their dishes are always presented beautifully, ambiance is nice, and staff friendly. Also their sambal is wonderfully hot! So glad to have this restaurant in lovely New West.
We ate here several times and have always had great service and consistent soups especially # 18 which has everything in it. They give you a nice pot of tea right away when you are seated, napkins and chopsticks are at the table so you never have to ask for it. Also like the nice touch of quail eggs for another buck or two to be added to your soup if you wish. Yum.
Have eaten here several times and food is always fresh and affordable. Enjoy their bentei dinner boxes with a mix of teriyaki beef or chicken, salad with nice dressing, noodles, and also their sushi roll combos. The staff are friendly and greet you readily. Restaurant is always full of patrons as they have a brisk takeout business too.
Ate here recently and we ordered the sri lankan noodles, malaysian mee goreng, and curry. All were very tasty and authentic. Not too spicy but that can always be asked. Chinese tea and side of hot sambal regularly refilled. Highly recommend the food, and you also get a nice view of the mountains at this very clean asian restaurant!
