(3) (3) (3) (3) (3)I frequently go to the 56th Street for breakfast and would recommend it to anyone in the Delta area, or passing through town on the way to the or from the Tsawwassen Ferry.
Great food, value and easy parking. You can pick up a loaf a bread or baked goods on your way out as well.
They recently added wireless Internet as well which makes it a great spot to eat and do some work during the week as well.
I have been to the Canoe several times in the past few months, and would say that the place has a good atmosphere but you need to set your expectations accordingly on the food and service. I have yet to have anything to eat that blew my mind and my most recent visit found a pretty awful meal. When I made note of it to the server, I was informed that they would let the kitchen know, but offered no compensation. It is a good place though for after work drinks and watching sports and I will likely go back for that particular reason. Not the food.
