Honjin Sushi138 Davie Street, Vancouver
Honjin you doing?

Well, I've been a regular for about two years now. The ambiance leaves much to be desired, but I find the sushi great…at least the three types of rolls that form the staple of my order. Try the "Round House", "Caterpillar" and "Yaletown" rolls (yes, I know...very original names). They are a wonderful departure from the mundane (god awful "California" et al) rolls you find at your run-of-the-mill Japanese eatery. I agree with the previous poster that he service can be "WEAK" at times, but on average I have found the staff fairly attentive (seldom have to ask for a refill of tea or sake).
