I like this place and the atmosphere. They have some of the tastiest cookies of any coffee shop in Vancouver. The owner is friendly and there is a girl or two that is friendly enough. I don't expect much, I really don't, but I do notice when servers/baristas seem put out by you asking for something or even serving you. Corner cup has some of the most unsmiling, sour, unfriendly baristas/servers anywhere in Vancouver, and some of these people should be working in warehouses, not serving the public in any capacity. The owner must pay very poorly to his staff, as that is all I can figure for why they all seem so unpleasant. I still recommend the place, just don't expect any friendliness with your service.
I live real close to this place and have been here no less than 20 times, under the new owners. I am very disapointed that they routinely cheat you on the amount of fish put into a fish bowl, burrito, etc. The owner lady, while very nice, will load up your order with lettuce and everything else, but will skimp on the fish. This is done to long time, loyal customers. They are very cheap when it comes to the main ingredient!!!I will never ever go back and they have been banned. There a rebetter Mexican places in the Kits, that actually put fish pieces i your order, so I would definitely avoid Burrito Bros.
I thought the burger was real tasty but pricey. I've only been here once because I don't think there is any value at Romer's but I did find everything really tasty. If you've got the cash, then I recommend this place and it is fairly casual and you don't have to dress up at all..
I've been here many times and strongly recommend the Mexican burger. It is very spicy and my favorite item on the menu. My GF orders some wrap of some sort which she is very happy with. My only complaint is the tables are filthy. It is like they never clean them. That concerns me a bit about the overall hygiene of the place. The ambiance also lacks and the place looks dated. I do like the sitar music. However, the owners are usually around and they are from India, so the food is the real deal and quite delicious.

This place just opened recently, and I am so excited to have a Mexican place in Kits that is this good at this price where I don't have to have to tip a waitress. I know, I'm cheap, but I like to just order,. eat, and not sit around too long. I just hope they keep up the quality of this food and these portions for as long as I go here. I don't know if will stay this fresh and tasty, but I sure hope so because I'm hard on the restaurants in Kits. I highly recommend this place as so far so good!
I used to like Connie's. However, something has changed over the years. While the food is still tasty, to save money they buy the cheapest dog meat available and pass that off to you. Everything is hard now. The chicken is chewy. The beef is chewy. The pork is tough and chewy. If you order too early before the dinner rush, they serve you the left over lunch food, that is re-heated, or it may even be from the night before. This has happened more than once, and I've quit giving Connie's chances. I have been here over 20 times over the years, but have given up on them. I don't recommend them, unless you like chewing on rawhide.
