Super slow service
Submitted Monday, March 31, 2008 - 6:03pm [Dine in]

Came here for lunch with a group of people. They charge 18% service for groups of 8 or more! the service was really really really slow, took us about 1.5 hours to get to the entrees... the food was okay nothing to rave away, nice decor and the waitresses was not really friendly... they seemed to be understaffed and rather nonchalant about their services, i guess since they were guaranteed a tip.. had lunch but didn't get to try the sandwiches from the deli/butcher which i'd heard good reviews about... will not be returning or recommending to people.

great value for the serving size, but when i went on a wednesday night, the food came out semi warm. it feels like they make a whole batch in the kitchen at once and serve it a la cafeteria style. this would be okay if they kept the food warm at least, semi solid cold cheeseballs are not very appetizing. the service is non existent, servers don't really give a crap about you and only force a smile when giving you the bill.

Now added to one of my favourite restaurant list! the ambience was great!! the fat hostess in the extremely short shorts was a bit of a turn off tho. I liked the fact that you can get a mix of different asian cuisines in 1 place. I went after work with another person and we ordered 2 appetizers (calamari and prawn cakes) and 2 main dishes (chilli ebi and curry seafood), plus 3 bowls of the hainanese rice, which was soooo good!!! i enjoyed their curry but i would go for the rice alone. the rest of the food was average but not bad. we ordered enough alcohol to make everything taste better. i wish i'd tried more of the food but there's always next time!

Better than expected

Came here to celebrate a birthday and had the all you can eat. Was a little hesitant because of the reviews but was surprised by the quality of food for an all you can eat. It's probably not as thoroughly prepared as some of the traditional korean restaurants but for the same price you can try a lot of different dishes. Service was okay, no complaints, as they gave us everything we ordered. Will try to go back again before they take away the all you can eat menu.

You get what you paid for... For $6.95 you can't really expect too much. The soup is pretty bland even if you ask for extra spicy. I've tried anywhere between mild to extra spicy and the only difference is an extra squirt of hot sauce or two. Once waited for take out and saw the cook in the back taste testing each soup as it was being made using the same spoon. Not a memory I like to think about when I go eat there. Service is pretty lacking, especially during busy times when they just don't seem to care. Had the guy waiter take our table's order without writing it down, it would have been pretty amazing had he not missed about 3 dishes.
