Twisted Fork Bistro1147 Granville Street, Vancouver
Made me a hero
Submitted Saturday, August 8, 2009 - 2:41am [Dine in]

We could not get into our regular Italian tonight and I suggested we try the Twisted Fork, a few blocks down. The service was wonderful, the food was outstanding and excellent value. The bathrooms were very clean. The three of us were able to have a special meal, all shared.

Take old friends to this Bistro, eat slowly for hours and flirt with the staff, boys and girls

I will be back. The only thing that stops me from giving a perfect rating is that I have only been once.

I love coming here when I'm shopping down town. The food is good, but not always ecellent. Their nicoise salads with ahi tuna tasted great, but the letuce at the botom of the bowl was frozen. If you arrive before 12 on a sunny day it can be simply the best spot in Vancouver for a coffee and a late breakfast/early lunch (No Brunch here)

I have walked past this restaurant for years and wanted to go in, finaly last week I did. It is like a time warp into Vancouver's past. It is old and worn, but not in a bad way. The service is friendly and the food is good. The menu is small. This is a great place to stop for a healthy lunch while doing your down-town shopping. If you like nostalgia, you will enjoy this cafe.
