I have to say I disagree with Kujibo about the food. The only disappointment I've ever experienced is if the Cactus Cut Potatoes are underdone. I ask for them "well done" or crisp now & it's not been an issue. I love the pizzas, especially the Rustic Italian. Substitute sun-dried for the fresh tomatoes & it's even better. I can't say I've ever ordered a pasta dish, so I can't comment there, but all the appies, pizzas & ribs have all been great.
The staff, Cassie & Rachel are 2 that come to mind, are great. Very patient when the little ones are there and always friendly & attentive.
I used to go to the Orange Club a lot prior to the renovation & menu change. (That seems like ages ago!) For whatever reason I hadn't had the opportunity to go again until a couple of weeks ago.
OMG!!! The ceasar salad with salmon was to die for. Not all goopy & soggy like so many places seem to do. Just the perfect amount of a perfect dressing!! I was with 2 other friends who raved equally as much about their meals. The service was great too. I definately will be going back more often.
My husband & I visited the Pepper Leaf after his sister told us about it. It's not a huge place and on the week-night we visited (around 5:30) there were 4 tables already occupied. During our meal 3 other groups arrived & I noticed at least 3 people come & pick up take-out order.
We were impressed with the variety of dishes offered. I can't even remember the names of everything we had BUT 1 was shrimp cakes (YUM!!), sweetbread? (Like naan & extremely good), a lamb curry and 2 additional dishes that I can't recall. All of the food was delicious.
The service was friendly & fast but we certainly didn't feel we were being rushed. We'll definitely be back & will tell our friends.
