Ok...if you are looking for a fancy dancy place then Twisted Fork it is. Twisted Fork is not an old Taco Bell turned into a fine dining restaurant. I wanted to take my wife for an 'apology' and 'make up' dinner and distract her from us and her troubles. With that said, they made some of the BEST steak around. One of my favorites is the steak of duck which they basically cut a duck breast and fill it with the confit then serve it in a bowl with this amazing dish. Heavenly wine to go with it. Highly recommend this place if you are on a date and trying to impress with fancy atmosphere (some of the women were totally packaged). It's one of those relatively unknown gems.

It was date night and I met a woman at Ichiro. First time and she wanted to be impressed naturally. I'm not sure if the weird menu was scary or alluring; perhaps a little of both. I have driven by this place a couple of times on my way to Steveston, and rarely see cars parked. I was just in one of those crazy moods meeting a different kind of woman so I was going to try something different knowing I prob won't even like it. Well It was the adventure I expected for the night. We waited for quite awhile ( nearly 15 minutes) and there was only one other person in front of us before food came. It was box of dumplings and beef and salad I didn't see the hustle that other places like this usually exhibit. Maybe there was a lot going on with delivery in the kitchen. The place is also a little dingy inside.
The food was okay, not bad and not good mostly weird Asian. I think perhaps with a little effort and some paint this place could improve.
