(3.5) (3.5) (3.5) (2.5)We have been going to the Sawasdee since 1990 or so and are completely in love with the staff and the food. Their Crying Tiger Beef is delicious, as is their Pad Thai. Everything we've ever had has been wonderful. And the lovely couple who take charge of the tables are funny, friendly and delightful.
Too bad we've moved so far away - our visits now are rare.
I have eaten here several times and the only food I thought was worth the money was the Soup of the Day when it was Tomato - it was delicious. Otherwise, the food is average but the prices are not! Too expensive - we shouldn't have to pay for the $1.5M reno costs, should we? Check out the prices at the neighbouring pubs and you'll see what I mean. Not worth it. Sorry, Gren!
