Pizza Hut is having any amount of toppings on a medium pizza for $12.00. The stuffed pizza crust is a dollar extra. If you order through the internet or use the 310-10-10 number no one questions your toppings. However if you phone the store to order they will tell you that 6 or 7 toppings is best to get thoroughly cooked. I have ordered twice with 7 toppings on the pan pizza crust. Pizza Hut always was my favourite chain pizza place and this promo just made it better. Rumour has it the promo is over at the end of August.

Party of 22 on a Wednesday night. Reservations for 2 tables of 11 each. No problems everything running smoothly. Ordered the set menu. Service was great food was good. A couple of the dishes were a first time for many of us. The crab dish was one of the best I've had in a restaurant. Waiter sliced and served a birthday cake we supplied. Don't know if we were charged for this service. Total bill was $680.00 before tip. Restaurant was full as we left attesting to the popularity. Would love to return.

Tried the Sunday lunch special. Pork with dried tofu and rice. First time I had dried tofu. Gimme the fresh stuff anytime. Good value for $5.95 but a lot of grease was evident. Partner had the fried noodles with vegetables $7.95 meh. If you are a party of 2 the seating is terrible. You are shoe horned into a narrow corridor. That alone is enough to make me stay away. Restroom okay. Won't be back. Better off eating at the Crystal Mall.

Nice restaurant with very friendly staff. Everybody pitches in and all seem happy. The 2 dishes we ordered were very nicely presented and delicious. Only problem was they arrived 20 minutes apart. At the time we were the only customers in the place so why can't 2 dishes arrive together. If 1 dish takes 5 min and another takes 20 min give the longer dish a 15 min headstart and presto both dishes are ready at the same time. Complimentary soup and dessert. $35.00 meal before tip. Kind of pricey. A little too rich for my pocket book. Return trip not likely.

C-Lovers ran a take-out promotion for 4 piece of halibut plus fries and cole slaw in the newspaper for just under $25.00 after taxes. Well worth the money. Portions were large and the food was delicious. The place was plenty busy when I went to pick-up but my order was ready at the agreed upon pick-up time. Tempting smells coming from my f&c packet. It was all I could do not to rip it open and partake while driving. But what the heck safety first.
Okay in a pinch

Tried the Thursday steak and fries special for $7.99. Big lounge but no one else was having dinner. Couldn't help but wonder why are we eating here? Very bare looking plate. About a 4 ounce piece of chewy meat and a handful of fries. Small container of ketchup and another of gravy. For the price it was okay. At least the wait staff were all hotties. Big screen was on showing a CFL game. Okay outing but not worth repeating.

Walked in on Sunday 7:00 pm. You would think the patrons had never seen Chinese customers before. Everyone was looking at us. Only tried this place because of the DineHere ratings and I was within walking distance from the casino. I can only surmise all the good reviews were from Langley residents who are not oriental. Everything about the place was wrong. Caucasian waitress in a Chinese restaurant just doesn't seem right. Don't the owners have kids? Ah! the food, Smallest dishes I have seen yet. Plus the main part of each dish was miniscule. E.g. scallops and pea pods besides being small there was only about 6 scallops. Lettuce wrap was very sparse on protein and large on filler plus we had to ask for more lettuce. Our other 2 dishes were equally disappointing. When we sat down and got served with forks we should have got up and walked down to the Flourishing. Restroom was really old looking but clean. If you ever see an oriental in here it won't be me.

Saturday afternoon dim sum 1:30 pm. Lots of seats available. Got seated at the very end table nearest to the restrooms. Lots of foot traffic very annoying. Plus the waiter was rolling table tops back and forth getting ready for the evening trade. Why can't you wait until the afternoon lull before doing this. Food was average and of good size. Order off the sheet plus there were some items presented table to table by a waitress. I had no idea what the cost was until I got the bill. Dim sum cost $3.25-$3.75 per item. Restroom was okay. Credit card okay with $25.00 minimum. Won't be back.
Friday Night Stroll

Came down for a stroll on a Friday night. Lots of activity. Sampled some of the dim sum and mini donuts. Just about what you would expect. No rants no raves kinda like the PNE. Pleasant evening, pleasant stroll. Walked west along Keefer and then east along Pender. Pender is like a ghost town. Lots of private security visible and lots of Vancouver police present. Cheap evening.
#1 Asian Restaurant in Langley

Thumbing through the 2010 Entertainment book and found a $10 coupon for Flourishing. I gather they won a local award as the #1 Best of the Best Asian Restaurant in Langley because it's right on their take-out menu. This is only my second Chinese restaurant in Langley and both have been great. Flourishing gets the nod over the other. Price wise it's Flourishing hands down. All 4 dishes we ordered were excellent and of large proportion. Service was A-1. Restroom was tired looking and needed a makeover. A certainty we will be back.
Free Birthday Entree
Submitted Friday, May 21, 2010 - 4:11pm [Dine in]
2 of us went for lunch on my birthday. I asked about the free entree and was told as long as there was another entree and 2 drinks ordered I could have any entree on the menu. Well T-bone steak and eggs it was. Absolutely great service by a waitress you felt liked her job and knew you were the customer. Ambiance wise it fit the mold. Windows and sills were clean. Restroom was spotless. The owner or manager has shown some pride in this establishment and it shows. I usually eat across the street at the On On where I don't think the windows have ever been washed.
Surprise surprise it's good

Returning home from an ill fated trip to the Boulevard Casino we thought we would have a bite to eat. Headed up North Road turned left on Cameron and enter the strip mall. For a small mall there was quite a variety of eateries. Settled on Japolo because someone wanted pho. Ordered 2 cali rolls, bowl of pho (only comes in 1 size) and a fried pork chop and chicken on rice. The rolls were ordered 10 minutes before the entrees so we could have them as appetizers. The pho came right away (passable), the pc and chick came 5 minutes later (looked dry but was tender and juicy). Finally the rolls showed up. Mildly upsetting so we just asked for a box to take them home. The tab was about $23.00. Very good value. Owner sushi guy seemed to know a lot of the customers and my guess it is a neighbourhood favourite. If I lived in the hood it would be on my favourites list too.
Free birthday burger
Submitted Sunday, May 16, 2010 - 11:00pm [Dine in]
Got a free gourmet burger coupon emailed to me so as I was going to Save On foods anyways why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Burger was pretty good as was the beef dip. Good fries. The onion ring tower was not to my liking as I found the batter to be too hard. I prefer the fresh made crispy rings not the frozen rings. Service was so so as the place was packed. Had to ask for coffee refill. Good thing I had a complimentary burger because the value is not there. Shroom burger, beef dip, onion rings, coffee, ice tea $38.00 before tip. Yikes.
Nothing will bring me back.

Party of 30 on a Wednesday to celebrate a birthday. We had reservations and they give us 1 waiter. The service was deplorable. Some had water most did not. Food was passable for most and uneatable for some. The red sauce which I had was ultra spicey and really put a damper on the whole evening. Nice restaurant but you can't eat ambiance. Really hated the outing and swear never to return.
Winner winner buffet dinner
Submitted Sunday, May 2, 2010 - 10:57am [Dine in]
Under $10.00 buffet on week days. Not an over abundance of variety but everything you need to get satisfied before heading back into the casino areas. The thing I love most about these casino type restaurants is there are very few children running about. Most parents realize this is not a good place to bring kids. Sparse buffet table is offset by a more than ample dessert table. Service is great. Restrooms as in all casinos is very well kept.
Really really good

Party of 10 with 8 having the Felico combo with coupon available in the local paper. Saved about $7 per couple. Darn right delicious and plentiful. So much food half the peeps took some home. Service was excellent some of the best I ever had in a restaurant. Restroom was clean and maintained. Free parking lot.

Not the greatest food in the world. Had 3 different appies. The onion rings came frozen out of a bag into the deep fryer and tasted like it. The honey garlic ribs were too dry and should have been labeled riblets not ribs. Teriyaki wings were the best of the bunch. The $7.99 steak dinner was worth about $8.00. Service was pretty much on the ball. Restroom was clean. Too many places to try before returning here.
Good food. Service in a shambles.

Order 2 dishes for $29.00 and receive a comp chicken or duck dish and a bowl of house soup. Had the brisket with daikon and the string beans with beef. The comp chicken was absolutely A-1 good enough to bring me back. Brisket was tender with lots of daikon. However the string beans while looking and tasting good had the fibrous string running the length of the bean making them very hard to chew. Every time you had a bean you needed to use your fingers and pick the string out. Very annoying. Service was disjointed. Soup came after the main dishes. Utensils came after the food was on the table. No bowls to drink the soup with. I hope this was just an off day as I do plan a return trip.

A little 20 seat restaurant in a small strip mall. Service was a little slow as there is only 1 waitress. Tables are very close together so that I felt crammed in. Food was delicious. You could tell there was some pride in putting out a good product. I was there on a Monday night and besides being quite busy there was a lot of pickup orders. A little on the expensive side but the quality justified the price. Restroom was clean and in good order. This is a place I would return to again.
Good enough to come back

Restaurant is directly across the street from a sky train depot so expect to see a lot of seedy characters hanging around. Restaurant is spacious with a few tatami rooms. Service is excellent, in fact I saw so many waitresses a thought occurred that this place is overstaffed. Food is solid. Prawn tempura, seafood udon, beef yakisoba plus 2 cali rolls. All acceptable.
