crappy crab cakes
Submitted Friday, November 24, 2006 - 12:54pm [Dine in]

I went there for lunch one day, ordered the crab cakes. They were not good. The cakes were flat, no shape or height and tasted bland, had to add alot of sauce to it. The sangria was very good, and the service was nice and pleasant. Love the ambiance, although small as it is, it was cozy. Do not order the crab cakes.

Well, I went for the lobster special. Was in really good spirits, was there with my in-laws, and a waiter walks by and spills a large glass of some sort of cocktail all over my shirt. Regardless to say, all I received was a half apology, and nothing else. So I sat there cold and fuming for the rest of the evening. Still will go back for the lobster. But that was such a bad experiece of RC.

The food is great. The girls are real nice when you are a regular. I go there before work everday, pick up a filling breakfast sandwich and go back for some curry chicken at lunch. It's convenient since I work in Richmond and it's just on Knight street. The food is affordable and delicious. It is very nice to finally get that corner operating. The convenience and affordability are the key features to the place.
