I had dinner with some friends at this place a little while ago. After reading all the rave reviews I could not resist to add my bit. When we where there the place was not very busy. The service was O.K., my order was a platter of seafood advertised as lightly battered etc. etc. When it arrived I could not trust my eyes. It looked and tasted like something out of a frozen dinner entree. You know that dark orange coloured batter and gritty taste (lightly battered?). I was very disappointed. My friends (2) ordered steak, again one was O.K. and one was just so so, not really the same weight but the same cost, they both told me they had much better. My lady friend ordered some sort of a sandwich and that actually looked good. (Can't do anything wrong with a sandwich as it has to be prepared fresh.) O.K. so you don't pay much, but I'd rather pay a couple of dollars more and have a good meal.
