Cactus Club Cafe357 Davie St, Vancouver
Perfect all the way

As a man who has eaten at many restaurants around the world I am not supposed to be into it but frankly I can see what men see in the decor, food, waitresses and ambiance at Cactus Club. If I weren't married/busy/etc I would probably check them out more often but unfortunately cannot for all those reasons. My experience is that the food is good and the service is great. I alternate between calamari and shots and steaks and beer and have never found them not exactly as I want them (the order is precisely as desired). I find the Cactus Club the best ambiance in GVRD

Waited all this time for nothing

We are used to fine dining establishments and this one falls short from beginning to end. We finally got a chance to visit this steakhouse. The ambiance is horrible unless you like looking outside during dinner. The Steaks, extremely overpriced and full of grizzle. They were sent back twice already due to being overcooked. We gave up after that as our $10 potatoes (you must order everything separately) were already cold.

Ended up wasting a $100 gift certificate that we had received a year ago. We should have thrown it out. Not worth enduring the pain and I wouldn't torture others by recommending this placet.

The waiters were not that which should be working in fine dining. I would compare them to a shlucky US establishment style wait staff.

Do yourself a favour and skip this one.
