Oh boy.... well, the owner/operator was very friendly, giving us samples from the menu to try before we ordered. It was pretty well down hill from there. The naan bread is store bought!!! It is usefull for sopping up the tears you'll be shedding at this abomination. The baigan bhartha was flavorless, the mixed veg. korma was super oily and tasted like rejected chineese food. The take away dishes are packed in the back and reheated in a pizza oven in the front of the store. Really drives home the fact you are eating left overs, which is fine but at least be sneaky about the re-heating. For a slightly more authentic experience check the ethnic food aisle at safeway and make it yourself :( ... or check out indian food market on quadra @ mackenzie

went on strong recommondation from a friend and was disappointed. food takes forever to come. sushi menu was basic with no special rolls of any kind. ingredients were not as fresh as they could have been, which for sushi, is a must. had a few questionable bites of salmon. gomae was watery and bland. oh, and the tea pot pours all over the table. (not their fault)

We had the veg. sampler platter.... fantastic. lots of food for 2 people, excellent value. The best hummus I have ever eaten, handsdown. everything on the sampler was so delicious. service is great, good selection of local beers, funky space. Can't wait to go to back fo another round.

The service staff is very genuine and friendly. The food was just ok. The hummus was made with very bitter tahini and i think my homemade is better, which is sad for a middle eastern place. the pitas are store bought, the greek salad came with canned olives!!!! The felafel was nice but not good enough to save the meal.
