Bon's Off Broadway2451 Nanaimo St., Vancouver
Best bang for your buck

No where else can you order 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon/sausage/ham, 2 pieces of toast, and a whole lot of potatoes with a cup of coffee this good for 5 bucks. Plus you get a chance to see so many of the Vancouver breakfast scene's celebrities, including the owner himself, the surly lady who cleans tables and fills your coffee but never smiles, and the guy who dresses up in a cop uniform and while filling your cup always says "There you go buddy!"

Elbow Room, The560 Davie St, Vancouver
One of my favorites for breakfast
Submitted Friday, February 17, 2006 - 12:52am [Dine in]

The Elbow room on Davie is a Vancouver institution. If you are like so many of us and enjoy the post party breakfast then you know this place. For the un-initiated, i highly recommend going if you appreciate a good breakfast and can put up with a whole lot of attitude. Although the rude service is apart of the Elbow rooms kitsch, honestly you need to provoke the servers if your looking to see fireworks. Otherwise they are simply short with you, and could be mistaken for a server at any other diner in the city. Please note, currently the Elbow Room serve my favorite hash browns, and if your not up for re-filling your own coffee don't bother going. ;-)

Joe's Grill2061 W 4th Ave, Vancouver
Great Breakfast and cheep

Joe's Grill is one of the best places in Vancouver to go when you can't be bothered with the line up at trendy Vancouver breaky hot spots. They have the usual spread, and they do breakfast items fairly well. Not a big fan of the hash browns, but the top notch diner coffee makes up for it.
