$1.50 for a take out container is rich in any person's language

Until about 6 months ago No. 9 Restaurant was a favorite haunt, especially during late night. That was until management concurred with the server to charge me $1.50 for a spill proof container for take home unfinished protions. The rationale was that the order was not soup or congee and when packaging all other dishes it is the establishment's practise to simply discard the sauce (good logic)

I've been a patron of H.K.Y.K. for about a year and feel comfortable with the food, service and ambience when corelated with price.
I concur with other reviews in that the service during the daytime is somewhat horrible.
In terms of the all you can eat Hot Pot my experience is that there is a cap of 2 hours and 2 re-orders (with the 3rd re-order frequently being incomplete). My advice is to simply place larger 1st and 2nd orders.
Jennifer and Charlie (hosts) are most helpful, especially when placing reservations.
