(3.5) (3) (3.5) (3.3) (4.3)Subeez has long been a Vancouver favorite of mine. Friendly staff, consistently good food, good value, amazing atmosphere (the weekend DJs are really great). My favorite things about Subeez are brunch (they poach the egss perfectly, EVERY time), the yam fries, and one of the new drinks on the menu - lemon vodka with elderflower water, is outrageously good. This is and will remain a staple venue!
Brix is a restaurant I've put off visiting until this year - and I'm very pleased to have finally experienced what they have to offer. Good food, excellent drinks and beyond excellent service made Brix stand out as an incredible dining experience. Staff repeatedly went out of their way to bring the highest level of service to our table and it did not go unnoticed. Highly recommend this beautifulvenue - the stone courtyard is absolutely stunning!
We celebrated an anniversary here last week and as always, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Excellent, courteous servers with personality, amazing quality seafood, and a bustling busy atmosphere with a beautiful view make an evening at Sandbar always memorable, and our anniversary was perfect. We are certain to return very soon!
I attended a wedding at the venue and was appalled by the rudeness and condescending behaviour of the service staff. The food (the portion I received - part of it was forgotten) was decent, but nothing exciting. Definitely a pretty venue, although the glass roof was leaking over some of our table due to heavy rainfall.
