Although this restaurant is a Chinese / dim sum service only, it definitely caters to the caucasian clientele. With dim sum items like chicken wings and spring rolls, you don’t have to be scared you won’t find something you like. But they do have all of the dim sum favorites such as ho gao, shark fin soup, and su mai. I have never been disappointed with the food any time I have visited the place. All the women serve the food on trays and they will come to your table and show you what they have. All of the men are there to clear your plates, serve you tea and get you anything else you may need. Set in the Marine Building - the restaurant is styled in an 80's decor, with high ceilings and chandeliers. A friend of mine once told me it felt like he was in the Titanic. You can find cheaper places, but this place is worth a visit.
Milestones on Demnan is a great location for a restaurant. If you are there in the summer time- getting a seat on the patio is awesome. The food is very tasty- my favorite appy would have to be the spinach and artichoke dip. So yummy! Possibly the best one I have tried. I had the Italian Sausage Ravioli once- it is very tasty and very filling! Another good one is the Shanghai Noodle Stirfry. Although prices are on the higher side- the food is high quality- so you get what you pay for. The service all depends on who is your server. One gentleman in the summer was absolutely amazing- always there to check in- refilling drinks- very polite. The following weekend a woman was serving us and hardly came to our table. Go figure!
