Food was enjoyable, but waiters less than appropriate.

I must first compliment the food here. The dinner was so enjoyable and there was so much to eat that me and my friend decided we must try to the rest of the food by returning the following day for lunch! The food was indeed up to expectations and better, more traditional than many of the other places I have tried. However, I would suggest going with more than two people otherwise you end up getting too much food as there are not many small selections.

When we arrived, we were greeted and seated after they realized we existed. Afterwards, a friendly and very underdressed server brought us our drinks and food. It was such an ordeal that all we could do was laugh. I don`t believe that was the intention of their ``uniforms`` but it was the fact.

An enjoyable experience (not for a very nice night out) and great food. I do believe they close late, so it`s a good place to find food when others are closed. Also, do not dress in anything too fancy, as the strong aromas end up in your clothes and leave you smelling like korean food for the night (a mistake i made!)

This is the first time I`ve dined at this little restaurant in lower lonsdale, but the I have ordered take out from here before. I never knew about this place until my neighbor suggested it to me one night since I only live about a two minute walk away along lonsdale. The first time, me and my boyfriend decided to get some take out.

We ordered a hot & sour soup, hot chicken on spinach, string beans and some fried rice. It came up to a bit more than we expected for such a little place, but we realized after the fact that we had enough for lunch the next day. The take out only took about 10 minutes and we were on our way. I also noticed that they got a `best take out` award from the outlook. The lady was quite friendly (possibly the same one with green eye shadow that everyone is mentioning?) and she even gave us a free new years calendar! The dishes were better than expected and fully satisfied out chinese food cravings that night.

The second trip this restaurant was for dining in. I really enjoyed this much better because i like the food right when it`s ready. We had the beans again and decided to try the satay seafood teppan and some noodles. The teppan was by far the highlight of the meal from the moment it was brought out sizzling with its mouthwatering scent. I really suggest trying a teppan dish for anyone going in to dine out. Very worth it! The noodles were the usual chow mein, nothing too special. I liked the style of service because I admittedly find that some times servers at other places can be almost too friendly and over helpful. This place gave enough service to tend to what we needed but did not bother us when we were try to enjoy our meal.

Definitely worth a try, though I haven`t encountered this place on a critically busy night. I will go back for sure whenever I need to satisfy my craving for a bit of chinese.

Good for a pre-night out.

I prefer this place over milestones or cactus club because I like their selection of food much better. I usually find something I like to eat in their menu. Service is good and they handle special requests well (i.e. they actually remember it). The best thing about this place is their portions, for me. It`s just enough to get me satisfied, but not too much that I`ll be too full to do anything afterwards. Great for a meal before going out and having fun.

This place was definitely more than expected. Although we`d gone on valentine`s day, the service was exceptional and the food was ready in no time. The ambience was perfect for the night and I really enjoyed the food and people there. I was a little reluctant to try out French food when my boyfriend suggested this little place, hoping it wouldn`t be too crowded, but it turned out to be very affordable and the dishes we both had: lamb sirloin and mushroom veggie dish, were scrumptious. Even though their menu is short, it just gives me reason to go back and try everything out. Very excited to go back!
