The butter chicken was delicious and it came with the choice of naan or rice. The proportions are generous compared to other restaurants of similar price.

Service was slow even though there were a lot of empty seats around. Water was constantly filled but it would have been a nicer experience if the server was more friendly.

It was dimly lit inside, somewhat romantic but the chairs were uncomfortable.

It's pretty inconsistent, sometimes the service is slow sometimes it's quick. Don't expect high quality service, the servers don't smile nor do they come back to ask you if everything's alright. Typical hk style cafe.

The mini meals are a good deal, comes with a drink and pretty filling depending on what you order. They have a large selection, nothing fancy.

Food: The sashimi is not fresh. The rolls are in a good proportion but the sushi was a bit smaller than expected. It's gone downhill and anything raw looks as if it's been sitting out for awhile.

Service: Was greeted right away, server kept coming back to ask if everything was alright. Constantly filled the tea...friendly service.

Ambiance: Small, kind of cramped. I was sat near a closet and it wasn't very pleasant.

Food: The gelato is super delicious, they don't have a lot of selections but the hazelnut chocolate is very rich and leaves you craving for more. there is also a non-diary selection.

Service: Friendly staff, encourages you to try out the different flavours and lets you know which choices are the fresher ones.

Value: Great price, you can mix the flavours. A small size gelato would be equivalent to a medium or large elsewhere. You can take a waffle cone over the cup for no extra charge.

Food: They serve dim sum at dinner time also which is a surprise.

Service: There was hair on my dim sum. It was on 3 out of the 6 dim sum dishes we ordered. The server was notified about it but the server kept stating there's nothing on it but took it back to the kitchen. Pretty much they took the hair off and re-steamed the same dishes and gave it back to us.

Ambiance: Typical chinese restaurant. The plates and bowls are all cracked.

Great food but...

Food: Proportions are small but the food is great. Pineapple fried rice was made perfectly. Also the fried tofu there is awesome, it's not too crunchy outside but super soft inside.

Service: Decent service, no smiles. The servers came by to make sure the water was constantly filled and was speedy with everything. But we were rushed out because the server said there was a lot of people waiting.

Value: Small proportions, you decide.

Ambiance: It's nice inside but a bit crowded.

Great value for the food

Food: Big proportions and very fresh. The tempura batter is not that great and their special rolls (such as the awesome roll, spider roll, etc) are just meh, I prefer the regular rolls (such as california roll, etc) better from this place.

Service: Slow service. The staff are slow to greet and seat you even though the place is usually half empty. Servers usually don't come by to fill your tea either. I wouldn't say the service is horrible but not very friendly I guess.

Value: Good price. Take out recommended so you don't have to deal with the staff.

Ambiance: Very big, open, and bright.

Food: Big proportions, a great selection from the menu.

Service: Friendly and polite staff.

Value: Price matches with the food.

Ambiance: At night time there's live piano and glow in the dark stars on the ceiling, very romantic. The other side has more of a family setting to it, seats are comfy.

Decent lunch
Submitted Sunday, April 26, 2009 - 7:52pm [Dine in]

Food: The food quality has gone a bit downhill from when it first opened up. The proportions are good but the food is not always fresh. The sashimi seemed as if it's been sitting out for a long time.

Service: It's a big restaurant but there were only 2 servers. They are polite but are slow to greet you at the door and don't have time to fill your tea.

Value: The lunch combos are definitely worth the price for all the food you get. A bit overpriced for separate orders though.

Ambiance: Very nice and relaxing. Soft music playing in the background.

Food: The sashimi was very fresh and in the right proportion. Tempura is deep fried to perfection. The food is highly recommended.

Service: There was only one server but the server was speedy and polite. My tea was constantly filled.

Value: The lunch combination is a great deal but some of the other items on the menu are priced a bit higher. However, very worth it for the fresh and delicious food.

Ambiance: It's a small restaurant with around 7 tables and some seats by the sushi bar. There was interesting Japanese music playing. It's a very relaxing place to eat at.
