Pug Owners Delight

If you own pugs or love pugs this is the place to be. Check it out on Halloween when they have their annual pug party. Food is terrific, and reasonably priced. Try their veggie burger one of the best in town! Shellfish is wonderful as well. Highly recommended.

First off the noodle box is a very busy place, and I have only gone once but was not impressed and did not go back. I could have ordered the wrong items not sure.

Ordered two noodles for takeout, one was hot, and was not impressed. The spice or hotness had no flavour, it was just hot. Did not appeal to me. The prices are also in my opinion are a little too high for what it is. Don't think they would be able to charge that in a place like Vancouver or Toronto.

Great Place for drinks overlooking the water
Submitted Thursday, February 23, 2006 - 1:34pm [Dine in]

Great brew-pub, craft brew beers on tap. Wouldn't pick it for formal dining, has the same kind of feel as yaletown brew pub in Vancouver. Great patio for the summer. Happy hour specials between 4-5 and 9-11 I think are great deals for cheap appies to go with your beers.

If you're in Victoria, definately check it out. Just remember to try and park down the hill away from the Streetlink shelter.

Good not great

Big portions, price is great. Nice atmoshpere. In my opinon stay away from the asian vegetarian dishes, western dishes, veggie burgers etc... are much better. It is a very cozy comfortable place and you can easily find an hour or more has passed.

Good Authentic Korean Food
Submitted Thursday, February 23, 2006 - 1:02pm [Dine in]

Food is great, however can get a little on the pricey side as things add up and some of the best dishes are close to $20.00. Try the Hamel Pajun, it is one of the best in Vancouver.

Interior decor is like a traditional beer house you would find in a university district in Seoul, so if you have never been to Korea give it a go. Ambience and food are very close to the real thing. I gave a 5 on ambience not because you would take your work client, romamtic date or even maybe a special family dinner there, but because it is very similiar to many student places in Korea.

Cheap, fun, great food

If you want sushi on the cheap, as well as other dishes such as great short ribs you have come to the right place. A student hang-out and for those that just want large portions, great prices, and great tasting food, this is the place. Ambience is pretty cool. Not a place to go for a quiet romantic dinner, but good for everything else.
