Love this spot.

I've been going to Ki-Sushi for about year because of the convenient location. I love the new place. I do agree with many people that certain days of the week or hours of the day, the service could be a lot better. There was a time where one of the waitresses had this rude attitude towards a question about certain rolls to my friend... but other then that, they have been very friendly every time I have gone with a few to a quite large group of friends.

I am pretty surprised on the quality of most of their food (well seasoned and decent portions) and essentially the good speed, to me it's not too fast and not too quick, and I actually like the fact the waitress leaves us alone when we are trying to decide on what to order (it's boring and lame to constantly order the same thing repeatedly).

The new location you can see the handful of (dominantly men from what I remember) making sushi. There are enough that I think they have a convenient line-cook style like method, because most of the fancy rolls are just fancy California rolls so I think. some of them make California rolls constantly... The only real disappointment is that their fancy rolls are essentially just overpriced California rolls... the outside is the fancy additional flavor.. and to me it's too expensive just to have a pretty outside of a roll.

I have tried their chicken and beef teriyaki and I LOVE it there - their okonomiyaki is not traditional it's more "Chinese style" as my friends and I call it (so if you're looking for the real thing, I suggest you avoid it). Another thing that has bothered me is that their menu is very inefficient, it would be great if they revised the menu and actually put in detail the contents of each roll (mainly for people who have a few things they are picky about or are allergic to, or even prefer and find interesting). The most inefficient thing of all is that they only have one area to pay - people paying separately, people getting and paying for take-out... It gets very full and having to wait for five minutes or more just to pay is really annoying.
