Kingfishers bar and grill opened in early April this year. We’ve been there a few times for lunch. I love their salmon sandwich and the grilled chicken salad is great too. Sitting out on the deck enjoying the sun and watching boats I felt like I was on vacation.

Recently we had dinner there for the first time. What drawn us there was the live music. It was a Wednesday night and the place was full when we arrived at 7:30. A musician was already in place and he sang our songs from Eagles to Van Morrision ! Live music with a great meal is my kind of relaxation.

What actually prompted me to write is their consistency in food and service. I had a very tasty baby pork ribs and our friends’ seafood risotto were great! Wine and drinks are very reasonably priced.
We love the ambience as it is casual and yet charming. I also appreciate the architecture of the building.
