Excellent lamb curry. Butter chicken is really good. Incredible value especially at lunch..around 7-8$ for curry dish, naan, rice, and tandoori chicken. I share the sentiment about the garlic naan though (powder!) stick with the plain or the potato. Also don't find this food too salty and I am also very sensitive to such things. Good solid restaurant over multiple visits.

A cut above the usual chinese food. The indian fusion choices add another level. Lots of choice and excellent quality. Nice family that owns it. Try the prawns guy ding..so good or the chilli chicken yum. Word of advice though, try to avoid weekdays between 1130 and 1230 as the local high school kids use this restaurant as a second school cafeteria! Other wise, the lunch special is an excellent deal. Recommended.

Mango cali rolls are to die for. Best chicken karaage in town. Always interesting and authentic sushi and kitchen specials. Great selection of good sake. Don't think previous post knows what they are talking about..owner Taka "Ted" Kawakame is from Hanshin, Japan (This is why their is so much Hanshin Tigers baseball memorabilia on the walls) There is also his 10 year sushi chef "journeyman" papers on the wall behind the bar as well. Some of the waitresses could be more attentive. However, sit at the bar if you can, and try Ted's food and sake recommendations- most authentic Japanese experience in Richmond.
