DELICIOUS Japanese Cuisine

The food here is OUTSTANDING! Every dish I have ordered from this restaurant was fresh and delicious.
The restaurant is located in a heritage house which is cool but also kind of cramped with ugly decor. I usually order take-out because I live just across the street so I can't say much about the service because the first time I visited, the service was great and the second time, the service was below average. I have only dined in the restaurant twice.
The staff are very friendly, although lacking in English. But they make up for that with their smiles.
And again, the FOOD is DELICIOUS!! (Try the crispy roll, it's amazing!)

Rough around the edges

I wouldn't recommend this place. It looks pretty rough. The atmosphere and decor screams "low budget". The highballs arrive in these teeny tiny little glasses.
The patrons that visit this pub all look like they're on a day-trip from the old folk's home and the men that go here are pretty creepy and desperate.
The food is decent and its low-priced but if you're looking for something more young, hip, up-scale or pleasing to the eyes, go somewhere else.

Delicious Food, Great Service

This was my boyfriend and my first time at the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the lamb and it literally fell off the bone, it was so tender. Perfectly cooked! My boyfriend was cutting his beef with his fork. We had salad and dessert too and it was all so good!
Our waiter was very friendly and cheerful and made us feel very welcome. He was very attentative and funny.
It seems like a pretty high-end place but it was still a decent price. My boyfriend and I each had a three-course meal and wine and our bill came to about a hundred bucks.
All in all, we had a very lovely time and will definitely be returning often.
