I found the food very good. I been there twice. Itis very pricy compared to Happas and regular japanese restuarnts
Of course you will be expecting to spend over $20 (lunch). I never been there for dinner though. I would go there as a treat for yourself or with friends. Nice food. I had the chicken Naanban and the Aburi Salmon. Sooo good.
They use to be decent until recently. I made a researvation and ordered in advance their special tea chicken for $10. When i was there they told me they made an error and didn't place my order for the chicken. The waiter said :if they forgot to write it down then they forgot too bad". I was very displeased with his attitude. He said he will try to find a solution. He went into the kitchen and said there was half a chicken left. We asked him how much he is going to charge. He said "its our fault, we will give it to you $5". we took it and when the dinner was over we got our bill they charged us $8 for the half chicken. We complained to the owner of the restuarant she said half a chicken is $8. We told her we ordered in advance and she said too bad, it doesn't matter. She had a very bad attitude. She even said that the waiter shouldn't have given you the chicken in the first place. "you don't even deserve the half chicken, I rather give it to the begger then to sell to you". When i heard those words i was shocked.
We told her again that we did order the chicken in advance and it is their error for not writing it down. We also told her that we paid for our food with money and are not beggers. We are definitely never going back.
