A friend of mine was raving about their spareribs noodles so I decided to give it a try. The fried spareribs was very tasty and the broth of the noodles was very flavorful unlike the bland broth of Flotea. Its seems that the soup was made from pure pork stock.
Their fried chicken was good too but their fried rice was a little salty. The portion of their food is quite big.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant for those who want tasty Taiwanese style food with a nice soothing ambience.
We were seated as soon as we came in. However, our server didn't get back to us until 15 minutes after. Upon the server's recommendation, we ordered the lamb chops and moussaka. I also ordered tea for myself. When my tea came, I opened the tea pot and saw that the water was dirty. I brought this to our server's attention and she replaced it with another one. Again, the water was dirty. I am not sure if it was the water or the tea pot. After 3 replacements, I gave up and ordered a bottled water instead. Besides, instead of being sorry, our server looked annoyed.
After waiting for 30 minutes, we were quite disappointed when our food came. While the portions were quite huge, the food didn't taste good. The moussaka was too dry, while the lamb chops were bland and overcooked. We requested for a medium-rare doneness but the lamb was served well-done.
I felt I wasted my time and money eating at this restaurant. I would never go back and I would definitely not recommend this to any of my friends.
