Cloud Nine1400 Robson Street, Vancouver
When was it called Cloud Nine?

My husband and I went there for our Anniversary. The veiw was spectacular and it was revolving slowly. Parking in that area, a little dark and scary. The restaurant itself really needs a makeover. You can tell that it's a little old and worn down. The food is on the "So-So" level but not great. I had to trade my plate with my hubby 'cuz his order was cold and mushy. I like food and that visit was disappointing. You think of the words "Cloud Nine", you expect it to be one of the great restaurants in Vancouver. Never going back there for any occation.

Good sushi!

This place has a small corner in the mall near London Drugs. They have good solid sushi. It's fresh, especially the ginger ( on the side ), and it doesn't fall apart on you. You can even see the chef make it. It is a small place, so, if there's no place to eat, you can always take it to go. It's just all sushi though. There's no tempura or other unique sushi that you would see in other sushi joints. It's just basic stuff. You don't get the usual free tea like other places. You have to buy it. Overall, it's good basic Sushi.

I've had better sushi than this place!

Seriously! First time I orderd here, the sushi looked pre-made. The sushi was also falling apart! They might as well have used regular rice. It also didn't taste that good either. It's more on the "So-So" level. Sure they have some unique kinds of sushi but if it ain't workin'...it ain't working! Service, not so great either. They are so busy or in a hurry, they take a while before they realize you need a refill. Unless you are really, really, really starving this place is duable and make sure to ask for a fork just in case the sushi falls apart. Oh, ginger on the side, not that great, not fresh.
