earl's is earl's. you can't expect a culinary renaissance when you go, but sometimes being a reliable standard has its benefits. if you know you can't go wrong, you'll go back when you don't want a disappointing experience. brought my date there the other night. wasn't trying to impress her. we just met and its too early for that. and the only drawback of earl's is when you're on a date those hostesses make it difficult to focus on your date. my date and i both had the steak feature. cooked just the way we wanted and the sides were decent. good wine too which the server recommended. she knew her wines, nice. even offered us a taste of the two we couldn't decide on. best of all, the big tv screens so i could keep an eye on the game.
studied all day with a buddy for finals. just finished my last paper and submitted--late. feeling pretty beat. buddy of mine suggested we grab a slice and heard this place was good. i was starving and didn't want to drive out but glad we did because it was well worth the trek. we had the caveman and it hit the spot. fully loaded with lots of meat and cheese. i dug in as soon as we got in the car-couldn't wait. think i can make it through another late night of studying.
