great location above robson street, clean crisp modern atmosphere. too bad the food itself is inconsistent, especially where the spice factor is concerned - traditionally hot dishes were bland and mild while our vegetarian guests, accustomed to hot food, literally had the insides of their mouths burned. green curry is a highlight... too many watercress in the chicken cashew. stay away from the callimari unless you like challengingly large mutant squid.

if you're craving excellent sushi, and not looking to be rushed with hurried service, kishu is the best option in kits.
and to clarify kishu star's bright red salmon - it is coral red because it is sockeye salmon, the highest quality salmon available. it seems "pickyjerk" is more familiar with the orange atlantic salmon - or worse, the barely orange farmed variety found at dubious all you can eat joints.
