On my own experience, Mr. Ho wonton house had been tested and proven many times to be a good restaurant to celebrate family gatherings, birthdays and other special occasions. Their food is always prepared well and served fast even on a busy weekend. Their servers are really nice and would make recommendations, one server will even let you know if you've ordered one too many dishes.
This perhaps is one of the best chinese restaurants I had and will definitely keep coming back.

Hands down to Kadoya!, This is the only sushi restaurant here in the lower mainland that I keep coming back to. Their specialty sushi rolls are fresh, huge and very tasty, I especially like the maple roll, rainbow roll, dragon roll...actually i like all of em, and can't get enough of 'em. Their prawn tempuras are good too, as well as the gomaee...
My only critic is that the place is so small that your literallly elbow to elbow with the other customers; And because theyre always extremely busy, sometimes the servers forget to refill your tea or water. Also, expect line-ups during lunch and dinner time.

I have read so many good reviews about this place so i thought to give it a try. A group of us came here on a Saturday night to try their Dineout menu. The place is located on a busy street, fortunately parking was not a problem, because they provided free valet parking on Fris. and Sats. Our server was really nice and accomodating eventhough he had to wait for our orders because a couple of people were late. The bread with the spread was outstanding. I had the butternut squash fondue with flatbread, which i think is a everyone should try for its really divine. I had the steak for main, i had asked for medium well, and it was done as I like it. No complaints with their desserts either. The jagermeister gelato is just yummy. I would definitely recommend trying this place, and i would absolute go back and try their other menus.

This place has a concept to put alcohol in every meal they prepare, this kinda intrigued me so I thought I would give them a try and check out their Dineout menu. We booked for 6pm and we're seated right away, the place was pretty busy but not packed. I had the ahi tuna for appies, sable fish for main, and creme brulee for dessert. My gf had the chinese spring rolls, steak, and mango cheesecake. I enjoyed the ahi tuna very much, and she liked here spring rolls too, im not sure though if we enjoyed it because it tasted good or we're just starving, I guess waiting more than 30 min for the appies did'nt help. The sable fish was a disappointment, it was cold and bland and even the sauce didnt help. The steak too was not warm, like it was cooked in the morning and was reheated an hour before it was served. Although, i liked the creme brulee very much, my partner liked the mango cheesecake but i kinda found it too sweet. Nevertheless, i dont think were coming back to this place, theres really not much variety to their menu, the food was just average, for me, the addition of alcohol didnt really enhance the flavour of the food, plus the fact that they served it cold, the place was tiny, and It was just weird seeing all the three owners there, neither one of them smiled or acknowledge our presence.
